Campus Update(s)
March 3, 2013:
Our apologies for the delay in updating you with more info on our campus. Work resumed in February, and as of today much of the work on our campus is done. In fact, volunteers from the church have already started working inside (note to any officials: under the supervision of a bonded and licensed contractor) delivering furniture, placing bookcases, and putting together our worship chairs.
After two weeks of preparation and concrete work, the asphalt for the parking lot was poured today:
Everything from our contractor's side appears on schedule to be completed by mid-March.
However, we have encountered another unexpected delay, once again due to complications and poor communications regarding the irrigation easement on the east side of our property. At the present time, Salt River Project will not draw wire to provide power to the building, as the plans call for crossing of the easement. Our contractor and building leaders are working on this, but we cannot anticipate how long it might take to resolve the issue and so cannot project when we will be on campus.
12/01/12:
Our buildings are in place and the interior(s) are complete. However, due to miscommunication between federal, state, and local agencies, we are faced with an indeterminate delay as agencies related to the irrigation easement complete the process to return the land to Song of Life. Once the easement is resolved, our contractor projects that the progress should be complete within five to six weeks.
October 29, 2012
Rev. Ron and Ed met with some of our sub-contractors inside the building to discuss the installation of a/v and data cables.

The parts of the building(s) are positioned.
First the front third of the worship space is pulled around and placed within inches of its final location.
Then the back and middle thirds of the same building are temporarily placed, in order but staggered.
The smaller, small group building, was moved into location.
Workers then set to work to remove all wrapping materials, adjust the location of the pieces to become one building, and secure both the worship building and the small group building.

October 15, 2012
The parts of what will become 2 buildings are delivered in four pieces. The first two delivered, in the morning, are the front and center of our worship space. The next 2 were the back third of the worship building and an additional smaller building to be used for small groups and classes.

September 17, 2012
Work begins in September with the initial staking of locations (buildings), and grading of the site's locations for parking.

Building Our Campus!
We are now in the process of developing 10 acres on the corner of Queen Creek and Sossaman Roads for our church campus!
After years of evaluation and partial starts, in 2011 the members of Song of Life approved and authorized a plan to develop a portion of the property (apx. 3 acres) to the required standards set by the Town of Queen Creek. As a part of this modest first plan, we will place two modular buildings on the property to use for worship and Sunday School space, as well as for children's, youth, and adult ministries throughout the week.
