Make a Difference through Song of Life Missions!
Song of Life United Methodist Church is active in a variety of ministries and missions reaching out to the community and world. Below you will find information and links to the missions ministries of our congregation, as we seek to live out our Methodist heritage of a social gospel - making a positive difference in the world around us.
- Justa Center (Downtown Phoenix)
We regularly partner with the Justa Center, a resource center for elderly seniors in downtown Phoenix. Over the years we have helped clean and pain the campus, run collections for needed supplies (from coffee to cleaning supplies), and volunteered time with the ministry.
- SoL Food Box Ministry
Each quarter, Song of Life gathers non-perishable foods to distribute to families in need in our community. Each quarter we help families through Pan De Vida and local schools, as well as military families with members deployed overseas.
- Pan De Vida
Pan De Vida is a local organization seeking to offer help to a variety of people in need in the community of Queen Creek. Pan De Vida offers medical assistance (through a monthly free clinic), assistance for the elderly (including transportation), and help for the poor. Pan De Vida can always use help. If you would like to offer your help, please contact Mary Gloria.
- Imagine No Malaria
A new endeavor at Song of Life, this is a wide sweeping initiative of The United Methodist Church, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations with the goal of eliminating malaria deaths in Africa.
