Worship Schedule Beginning May 16
We at SoL are entering into a new season of gathering for worship and study. After being online for more than 12 months, we are transitioning back to in-person activities. We know this has been a long time coming, but as people who love and care for one another, we have intentionally taken a slow and deliberate process, letting the science guide us along the way.
- 8:00am In-Person Traditional Worship Indoors
- 9:30am In-Person Traditional Worship Indoors AND Online Worship
- 11:00am In-Person Praise Worship Indoors AND Online Worship
Pre-registration is recommended so that we can adjust our indoor seating to accommodate those planning to attend. The schedule and other details are subject to change depending on COVID positivity rates in the zip codes surrounding Song of Life UMC.
All In-Person Indoor Worship Services will be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and volunteers. Pre-Registration will be done online with links to the Pre-Registration system available the Monday before each service. If you need assistance Pre-Registering for a service, we suggest you contact the church office at 480-641-1200 or by email at . Seating will be in family groups, with 6’ between each group.
Worshipers will be required to read, sign, and submit their Return to In-Person Worship (RIW) Covenant form before they attend in-person worship, will be required to wear masks throughout the entire worship service, and will be expected to abide by our Personal Protective Measures, including no group singing or speaking, and no hugging, handshaking, etc. The services are expected to last between 40-45 minutes or less.
We know this is going to be a very different experience for many of us, and we hope we will be
able to loosen up some of these measures in the weeks and months ahead. We appreciate your
cooperation, your patience, and your grace as we experiment with different technologies and recruit
additional volunteers…speaking of which, if you are willing to help by serving as a volunteer liturgist, usher, greeter, attendance taker, or A/V assistant, please contact Pastor Jody or the office. Not only will you
be helping us out, you will also be guaranteed a seat in the in-person worship service of your choice for
yourself, your spouse, and your family!
