Deanna Yahney
Church Operations Manager
My name is Deanna Yahney and I am the Church Operations Manager at Song of Life UMC. I grew up in Philadelphia, PA but spent most of my years living at the Jersey Shore before moving to Florida in 2009. My son, Caden, and I moved to Arizona in July 2024 with my best friend and have loved living in our new area.
I graduated from Holy Family University with a B.A. in Computer Management Information Systems. After graduation, I worked as the Admissions Manager for a seaside amusement park on the Jersey shore for 13 years and sought a new career after arriving in Florida. I have always loved children and began a new career in the childcare industry. Since 2010, I worked as a two-year-old teacher, school-aged teacher, and Assistant Director before finding my calling as a Preschool Director at Little Angels Preschool at Mary Esther UMC.
Upon arriving in Arizona, I felt a different calling to administrative work. With my experience and education, I felt the Church Operations Position was a perfect match. I feel that working in a church with so many people is one of the greatest blessings from God.
