Holy Week Worship Schedule
This week we will hold Maundy Thursday and Good Friday worship services at Song of Life (in-person only) at 7:00pm. We encourage you to attend these meaningful services as we relive Jesus’ last week on earth before his Resurrection.

On Easter Sunday, in addition to our usual worship schedule, we will offer a Sunrise Service at 6:00am on the patio.

Bible Buddies Adult Study Group
Our Bible Buddies Study Group WILL meet this week on Tuesday, April 12 at 10:30 am for fellowship followed by our study time shortly before 11am. We are continuing our study in partnership with the sermon series called “Good Enough.” All are welcome.

Annual Pledge Campaign
If you have not yet turned in your 2022 Commitment Card, please do so at your earliest convenience.

Midweek Bible Study on Monday @ 1:30pm on Zoom!
This study is temporarily suspended until we find a new date a time for the group to meet. If you would like to be part of this decision-making process, please contact Pastor Jody at

Our Building Committee met with potential architects last Thursday. We anticipate choosing an architectural firm to work with the congregation to revisit, review, and revamp the Master Plan for our church property. When we begin the Master Plan Review, we will be asking YOU for your input. Please watch for more information in the near future.

Would you like to give to UMCOR to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine? Check the bulletins for information on how to give.

Are you a caregiver for someone with memory impairment?
A support group is available to you sponsored by Dayspring UMC in Tempe and facilitated by our church member, Anne Ahland. The group meets by Zoom on the first and third Mondays of each month. Discussions include the successes and challenges of caregiving in a safe, confidential, and caring setting. Please contact Anne at  for more information.

We are also saddened by the passing of our member and friend, Patricia Gay Tillotson. Gay was a dear friend to many at SoL and, like all of our friends who move on from this life to the next, will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 11am at Gilbert Memorial Park. More information to follow…

And finally, Pastor Jody will be on retreat during the week of April 18 (the week after Easter). She will be available by email, by phone or by text while she is away. Pastor Katharine Keller from Gold Canyon UMC will also be available for in-person visits. To schedule an in-person visit with Pastor Katharine, please contact the office.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow…either in-person or online!
