Worship Info for July 31, 2022

Pastor Jody returns to the pulpit this Sunday with a message called “Mobilizing our SoL” as part of a new sermon series called “Transforming our SoL II.”

Many of you will recall that last Fall, we introduced “Transforming our SoL” as part of our Capital Campaign fundraising effort. This Sunday, we’re bring this theme back, as we have another opportunity to be transformed as we strive to Make Disciples and grow our church.

COVID 19 Update
We’re still watching the local COVID 19 case numbers, but as most of Arizona, including Maricopa County, has been downgraded to “Medium Risk,” masks are not currently recommended/required indoors. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are welcome to do so.

Pastor Jody is returning from vacation and her recovery from surgery. We are grateful to those who served in her absence: Rev. Joshua Warner, Rev. Rachel Gilmore, and Rev. Tina Rees who offered messages on Sundays, and Pastor Katharine Keller who was available for Pastoral Care needs.

We Need a New Home
One of our church families is moving in the near future and has two beautiful pieces of furniture they would like to re-home. One is a china closet, 85″ tall x 62″ wide x 18″ deep with lighted interior and a mirrored back. There is also a matching desk, same dimensions, with a keyboard tray and a space for a computer tower. The desk also comes with a 2-drawer filing cabinet and is ready-to-move as it was never uncrated when this family moved to Arizona. If you are interested in either or both of these pieces, please contact Dean and Gail Wolfahrt or the church office.

See you in worship!!
