Worship Info for 8/21/2022

We continue our sermon series called “Transforming our SoL II” with the third in a series of sermons based on the book “Restart Your Church” by Rev. Dr. Dottie Escobedo-Frank. Pastor Dottie is an Elder in the Desert Southwest Conference, serving as Senior Pastor at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church. In “Restart,” she offers a recipe for churches considering revitalization, which historically hasn’t worked, suggesting instead they follow a model inspired by our defining story as Christians: Christ’s death and resurrection.

Many of you will recall that last Fall, we introduced “Transforming our SoL” as part of our Capital Campaign fundraising effort. in this series, we’re bring this theme back, as we have another opportunity to be transformed as we strive to Make Disciples and grow our church.

Building Committee Update
